The Water Resources Department is responsible for providing safe, reliable drinking water to the City of Stillwater, and many of the surrounding rural water districts, and for the proper treatment and disposal of all received wastewater.
Engineering and Planning: Provides and updates the design and construction standards and ensures compliance. Implements and oversees engineering studies, master plans and GIS mapping.
Capital Program: Plans, executes and oversees the funding, approach, design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure improvement projects.
Water Treatment: Responsible for operation and maintenance of the Kaw pump station, raw water pipeline, water treatment plant, booster pump stations and treated water storage tanks.
Wastewater Treatment: Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the lift stations, the wastewater treatment plant and the disposal of all liquid and solid effluent streams.
Environmental Programs: Manages compliance for local, state and federal regulations and oversees the Industrial Pretreatment Program.
The Annual Water Quality Report provides information about the quality of your drinking water; the efforts being made to improve the water treatment process; and how we protect our water resources. Our goal is to make sure you have a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. This report is also known as the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR).
