Trees & Overhead Power Lines in Rights of Way 

City contractors trim trees located within easements, rights of way or those growing into areas that also include overhead electric lines. Our goal is to maintain a safe operating clearance between trees and energized lines.

Trees & Overhead Power Lines on Private Property

City contractor will not trim trees on private property. However, call 405.742.8230 and we will temporarily disconnect the overhead service wires allowing the owner or contractor to trim trees on private property. This disconnection/reconnection service is provided at no cost to the customer if it occurs during normal business hours.
