The two miles of water line will improve service and reliability to the Deer Crossing and Woodland Trails developments and other neighborhoods along the alignment.

July 7, 2017: Bid opening scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 3 p.m.
August 10, 2017: Bid opening occurred at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
October 13, 2017: Contract awarded to McKee Utility Contractors, Inc.
November 15, 2017: Pre-construction meeting held on October 17th. Notice to Proceed was issued on October 30th.
February 27, 2018: Work notifications have been mailed to residents. Contractor is currently mobilizing on-site and establishing erosion control.
April 5, 2018: Installation of the water line is progressing.
July 13, 2018: Installation of the water line along Western and 32nd is complete. Contractor is currently disinfecting the new line and will tie-into the existing water line end of July.
October 11, 2018: Water line work is progressing. The Contractor is scheduled to be completed by early November 2018.
March 29, 2019: Project is substantially complete. The Contractor is currently completing punchlist items.
