Agenda Available for March 1 City Council & SUA meetings

MEDIA RELEASE

(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / Feb. 25, 2021) – Stillwater City Council and Stillwater Utilities Authority will meet over videoconference for special meetings this Monday, March 1. 

State lawmakers recently passed Senate Bill 1031, which reinstates similar exemptions to the Open Meeting Act that expired in November. The new bill authorizes public bodies to meet virtually through February 2022 or until the expiration of the governor’s executive emergency order on COVID-19.

The Council Hearing Room at 723 S. Lewis St. will remain open to the public. Meetings will no longer be held in the Winfrey Theater in the Community Center.
