(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / Feb. 5, 2021) – Yesterday at 11:49 a.m., Stillwater Police officers responded to an accident at the intersection of Maple Ave. and Duck St. where they found a black SUV rolled onto its roof. The vehicle occupants complained of injuries and were transported to the Stillwater Medical Center for treatment.

Officers learned that a red car traveling westbound on Maple Ave. entered the intersection and struck the southbound SUV. Stop signs control east and westbound Maple.

The driver in the red car fled the scene before officers arrived. The car was quickly located—unoccupied—on the OSU Campus.

A review of security camera footage on the OSU campus aided officers in identifying the driver as Stillwater resident Leena Signh (DOB 07/12/1985). Signh was arrested for leaving the scene of an injury accident and booked into the city jail.
