MEDIA RELEASE
(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / Feb. 4, 2019) – Stillwater City Council is encouraging residents to apply for the vacancies on the Library Board.
The board has one vacancy presently and will have another vacancy open in May. Term length is three years.
Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of the month at noon at the Stillwater Public Library (1107 S. Duck St.).
The Library Board has supervision and control of the public library and appoints the librarian or librarians and all other subordinates, provided that the board may authorize a librarian to appoint subordinates. The library board may adopt regulations for the administration and operation of the library, subject to ordinance which the City Council may enact.

Applications are kept on file for three years and are reviewed as vacancies occur.
