MEDIA RELEASE (UPDATE)
(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / 12-3-2018) —On 11-28-2018, Donald Lee Spurrier was reported missing to the Stillwater Police Department. Donald was last seen by a family member on 11-20-2018 around noon. He was driving his red Ford F150 crew cab pickup when he went missing. Family members provided information indicating Donald was often forgetful and sometimes confused. They were very concerned about his safety.
Earlier this evening investigators were following up on a lead that placed Donald in the area of State Highway 18 and VFW Rd in southeast Pawnee County on the afternoon of 11-21-2018. Donald’s pickup was found stuck in the mud near that area. A body, believed to be that of Donald Spurrier, was found lying near the pickup. Mr. Spurrier’s family was notified shortly after the discovery. We are awaiting positive identification of the body at this time. There is no sign of foul play

Family members provided information indicating Donald in often forgetful and sometimes confused. They are very concerned about his safety.
Donald Spurrier is an 87 year old white male, 6’00 tall, approximately 200 pounds and has white hair and green eyes. Donald’s date of birth is 1-23-1932.
Donald is driving a red 2004 Ford, F150 crew cab pickup with Oklahoma license plate number CLL-311. The pickup does not have a bed cover (as shown in the photo) any longer. Police also do not believe Donald has any personal identification in his possession
