(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / Oct. 21, 2016) – Stillwater City Council is encouraging residents to apply for the vacancy on the Audit Committee.
The applicant must be a member of one of the following groups:
The Audit Committee reviews the annual financial reports of the City and its trust authorities on an annual basis with the counsel of staff and the external audit firm. The Audit Committee participates in the selection of firms to conduct the annual audit.
Term length is three years and meetings are called as necessary at a time and location to be announced.
