Part of Hall of Fame and Western roads, Airport Industrial Road close to traffic June 6

(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / June 3, 2016) – The City of Stillwater would like to notify residents that starting Monday, June 6, two full road closures might impact their routes around Stillwater.
The partial closure at Hall of Fame and Western roads will become a full closure for four weeks. All traffic will need to find alternate routes.
Eastbound SH-51 traffic will be detoured to Duck Street and westbound Hall of Fame traffic will be detoured to Washington Street, then to McElroy.
The road will open again to through traffic in July with a partial lane closure for work on the south side of Hall of Fame. Questions should be directed to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) Stillwater Residency at 405.372.5644.
June 6 will also be the first day for a full closure on Airport Industrial Road south of Stillwater Regional Airport. This road closure is anticipated to last until Aug. 19 and the road improvements should be completed prior to the Aug. 23 airport opening of direct flights to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
The City of Stillwater updates its website every Friday with a list of temporary street and lane closures for the following week at http://stillwater.org/closings/.
