City of Stillwater awarded 2016 Oklahoma APWA Silver Award for Sangre Road bridge

(STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA / May 17, 2016) – The City of Stillwater was recently honored as the 2016 Oklahoma American Public Works Association (APWAOK) Project of the Year silver award winner for the Sangre Road bridge project.
The City submitted the bridge project under the transportation category for projects less than $5 million. Paul D’Andrea, APWAOK chapter president, and Sharla Lovern, APWAOK chapter secretary and awards committee chairwoman, presented the City's award at the Monday, May 16 Stillwater City Council meeting.
The City of Stillwater was recognized as the managing agency for the project. Primary contractor Meridian Contracting Inc. and primary consultant BKL Inc. were also recognized for their work.
