42-08 - Utility Maintenance Worker I/Utility Maintenance Worker II (Water Utilities): This position performs heavy manual labor in addition to operating a variety of hand and power tools and motorized equipment used in the construction, repair and maintenance of water and sewer utility systems. Must have the strength to pull, lift or push a 50-pound object on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an infrequent basis.  Requirements:  Maintenance Worker I is an entry level position and must have the ability to obtain a "D" Water and/or Wastewater Operators License and a CDL License with airbrake certification within six months of hire date. Maintenance Worker II  requires a valid Class "C" Water and Wastewater Operator's License in the primary division of assignment and a valid "D" License in the other division, and a valid CDL license with air brake certification.  Starting salary:  $11.12/$13.27 per hour and comprehensive benefits package.  Closing date: 03/26/08
