Requirements:
: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, five years increasingly responsible experience in water utility operations including three years of supervisory or lead responsibility. Must obtain an Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire. Must possess, or obtain a valid Class C Water Laboratory license within one year of hire and possess, or obtain a valid Class A Water Operators license within six months of hire.
Description:

34-18 Water Treatment Plant Superintendent (Water Utilities): Manage, direct, monitor and coordinate the activities at the Water Treatment Plant. This includes the proper operation and maintenance of the water treatment facility, coordination with other divisions and departments, direct the operation and maintenance of the raw water pump stations, transmission lines, water distribution storage facilities, booster and transfer pump stations. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, five years increasingly responsible experience in water utility operations including three years of supervisory or lead responsibility. Must obtain an Oklahoma driver’s license within thirty days of hire. Must possess, or obtain a valid Class C Water Laboratory license within one year of hire and possess, or obtain a valid Class A Water Operators license within six months of hire. Starting salary: $52,936.00 - $75,504.00 DOE per year, plus comprehensive benefits package. A completed City of Stillwater application, cover letter and resume are required for consideration.
