CITY PLANNER
The City of Stillwater, Oklahoma is seeking an experienced, progressive and creative City Planner with excellent customer service and communication skills to plan, organize, and oversee the planning function of the City. Ideal candidate must possess a broad range of planning knowledge, have the ability to effectively and positively address important community planning issues with public and private stakeholders, have the ability to provide highly complex staff assistance to the Community Development Director. Minimum qualifications: Four years of increasingly responsible experience in professional urban planning including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility; Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban planning or related field; AICP preferred.
Salary range: $40,508-$57,754, excellent benefits. Cover letter, résumé and completed application form must be submitted for consideration. Interviews will begin in November and recruitment will remain open until the position is filled.

65-04 – TEMPORARY PART-TIME MINI-BUS DRIVER: Provide safe, courteous and efficient transportation service for the elderly and handicapped citizens within the city limits of Stillwater.  Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and CPR training is required. Approximately 20-30 hours per week, position is expected to last 3-4 months.  Starting salary is $9.86/hr. Closing date: 11/19/04

66-04 – MAINTENANCE WORKER:  Perform a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance work, and operate an assortment of light to medium-duty equipment or tools used in the construction, operation, repair and maintenance of City streets, alleys, drainage and right-of-ways.  Education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance is required.  Valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required, CDL preferred.  Starting rate is $8.26/hour, comprehensive benefits package.  Closing date:  11/19/04

68-04 – PT ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK:   Perform a wide variety of general clerical duties and responsibilities in the Electric Department.  Type and proofread a wide variety of reports, maintain manual and computer files, and prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders payments as assigned; answer phones and take customer outage and trouble reports.  One (1) year of general clerical/secretarial experience is required.  Starting rate is $8.7675/hr.  Closing date: 11/19/04
