Sister Cities Council Member

Nelda Helt

Mrs. Nelda Helt was appointed to the Stillwater Sister Cities Council in February of 2000. She is a retired Stillwater high school teacher having taught all of the social studies courses offered but primarily world geography and world history. Nelda began her association with the council as the Stillwater delegate for the SCI trilateral exchanges involving Stillwater, Kameoka, Japan and Jandira, Brazil in 1997 traveling to Jandira and Kameoka to participate in this three-city exchange. Nelda and her husband Ken own Helt Photography in Stillwater and provide many hours of volunteer time and photographic services to the Sister Cities Council and other community groups. She enjoys photography and travel.
