Linda Ely

Linda Ely has been associated with the Stillwater Sister Cities program since the establishment of the relationship with Kameoka, Japan in the mid 1980s. As a member of the staff in the City Manager’s office and as part-time Sister Cities Coordinator, she has worked with all facets of the award winning programs. She traveled to Kameoka with the mayor’s delegation for the 10th anniversary celebrations in 1995. Linda was appointed to the Sister Cities Council in December of 2005. She is a graduate of Kansas State University and a former elementary teacher. She volunteers and participates in community activities and enjoys her family, photography and travel.
