Sister City Affiliation Agreement
SISTER CITY AFFILIATION AGREEMENT
City of Stillwater, Oklahoma, U.S.A.
City of Kameoka, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan

WHEREAS, the City of Stillwater, Oklahoma, U.S.A., and the City of Kameoka, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan hope to promote mutual understanding, goodwill and friendship between the people of the two cities through exchange programs, and

WHEREAS, both cities are convinced that such exchange programs, in turn, contribute toward world peace and prosperity.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the two cities, with the support of the City Council of each, do hereby agree to establish the sister city affiliation on this 3rd day of November, 1985.
